Brick and stone matching
—
After an initial conversation, we will visit the site for free so that we can examine the nuances of the existing materials and architecture, ensuring our work respects the original intricacies of the building.
Often we can supply the original stone from reclaimed sources, or if not, we can create bespoke replica blends. We’ll send you samples of brick or stone so you can be 100% certain the finished result will achieve a consistent feel.
We can supply a wide range of lime mortars for your building which allows the bricks to breathe and move safely - securing a long life span for the renovation or extension. Getting the right mortar is as important as getting the right bricks.
We also offer brick cleaning and repointing to remove the effects of weathering on the existing architecture.
Examples of architectural details we can supply include:
Bay windows and bay cills
Label moulds, tracery, pediments and columns
Chimneys and chimney caps
Hand carved name plaques and date stones
Sawn York steps and paving
Ashlar
Lintels and cills
Copings and quoins
Plinth and string courses
Pier caps, balls and finials
Mullion window surrounds and door surrounds
